Parent Council Website
OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the Parent Council are to:
● work in partnership with the school to create a welcoming school which is inclusive for all parents and pupils
● promote collaborative working between parents, families and the school
● develop ways to actively engage parents to support children’s education, the welfare of the pupils and improve their outcomes
● support the school in consulting with the wider parent forum on school policy decisions and other matters
● promoting contact between the school, parents, pupils, providers of nursery education and the wider community
● identify and represent the views of parents on the education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils
● support fundraising to provide additional equipment and resources for the school where possible
● reporting to the Parent Forum.
